Don't confuse logical with true. Something can be perfectly logical without being true.

Depends what it is.
If it is a universal statement: all horses are animals, by finding a horse that was not an animal.
If it is an existential statement: Yetis exist, its falsehood can never be proved, only its truth.
That is why truth and falsehood can be such difficult things to handle.
